Subject: Walk the Gay Way, Before It's Too Late!
Short promotional film from 1940 trying to get people to visit the Golden Gate International Exposition in San Francisco before it closes. This has lots of color footage of the fairâs architecture, giving it historical value. OK folks, I know the meaning of a certain word beginning with G has changed over the years, but I couldnât help snickering at the huge pair of signs announcing the âGay Way.â Otherwise, this is pretty ordinary, but it does have the usual futuristic fun of worldâs fair propaganda.

Subject: Excellent 1940 Promo
The 1940 Treasure Island Exposition looked like it was very enjoyable. This very short promo did an excellent job. Well filmed, edited, and narrated.

Subject: Too soon is too late!
Ad made up to look like a newsreel to remind you to run, donÃÂt walk to the Golden Gate Fair because itÃÂs about to close! Just think of all the events you could miss! The Aqua Follies! Puppet shows! Hurry! And make sure you go down the Gay Way at night time! (snicker). Remember! Too soon is too late! What the heck does that mean?
